Lotion as "medicine" for boo-boos

Serena's new "magic healing potion" is plain old lotion:

New hack I came up with on the spot for our not-quite three year old, who is very much into rituals, such as putting medicine on a cut and then the bandaid. Recently he has been requesting medicine and bandaids on boo-boos that, well, aren't really there (sometimes it might be a real hurt, like closing a drawer on his hand, but not something requiring a bandaid). I have no problem with gratuitous bandaids, but I really don't want to put neosporin or bacitracin on him for no reason, so yesterday I said I had a different medicine to use and took out a small tube of lotion instead - we put a little on, and then the bandaid. All was well!
