Fall Fashion

This weekend in Seattle was a beautifully warm and sunny farewell to an otherwise overcast and rainy summer. However come next week, gears must shift. Fall is near and I am anticipating my coat needs already. I LOVE this jacket from Vancouver shop Little Houses. I love the hood and the ruffle and the way the buttons are on the side. So cute! I also included a pic of a great shirt from the same shop.

Check out the color combos in these pieces from Glen Falls shop The Candy Theif. I have got to get my hands on her inspiration. She pairs colors I would never think of, but they are seriously blowing my mind. There are strands of happy hair sporting these headbands.

Has any one else been watching PBS lately? It has caused me to become extremely interested in bears. I stumbled across these T’s from New York shop 1AEON’s that I love not only for the image, but also for the amazing colors.

Hand Cut Hello

Check out these adorable pieces by UK artist Joanna Rutter. I was happy to discover them. I love her simple shapes and her hand cut “hello” scrawl. I love her attention to detail. The shapes are simple, but clever and well places. Her pieces are classy, but also have a sense of humor. She has great photos of her work and the blue, yellow or grey backgrounds really make her shop stand out. It is a well designed cohesive shop.
